The SKM PicoLINK modul system family from euromicron has been certified by GHMT AG, which specializes in high-frequency measurement technology. That is persuasive proof of quality, since GHMT certification is demanded by prestigious end customers and planners throughout Europe.
The cabling system, which offers generous performance reserves and is based on tried-and-tested, high-quality components and cables made in Germany, is also distinguished by its excellent value for money. SKM PicoLINK modul is a fully shielded cabling system complying with ISO/IEC 11801. It consists of a CAT 7+ cable, distributor panel, module housing, data connection sockets, frame sets and patch cables for a very wide range of different requirements, such as hollow walls, floor boxes or dado trunking. The modular technology system meets CAT 6A / class EA requirements, both in a permanent and a channel link for 10 GB applications.
SKM PicoLINK modul is distinguished in that it is particularly safe and very quick to install, offers great performance reserves, is halogen-free and is electromagnetically compatible. Thanks to the safety reserves of the components used, the CAT 6A / class EA requirements (up to 500 MHz) are far exceeded. “This certification again documents the euromicron Group’s extensive expertise in network infrastructures, whether they are based on fiber optics or copper,” stresses euromicron Executive Board member Thomas Hoffmann.
The GHMT certificate attests to compliance with the normative specifications. This is documented by a test report in accordance with EN 17025.
The manufacturer is responsible for ensuring that the series products correspond to the type models submitted to the GHMT’s accredited laboratory. The manufacturer’s quality assurance standards, for example, certification in compliance with ISO 9001, are the basis for the declaration made under its own responsibility.
