euromicron AG has acquired all the shares in SSM Service Gesellschaft mbH Hamburg. SSM Service specializes in the field of voice communication, delivering products and service know-how from NEC Philips, and is its largest service partner in Germany.
SSM Service Gesellschaft mbH offers maintenance and service of telecommunications and voice transmission systems, as well as sales, distribution and installation. The company employs 44 people, two thirds of whom are service technicians and engineers.
“The longstanding cooperation with SSM means that the company will be handed over to euromicron in a spirit of trust,” says the founder and owner of the SSM Group, Wolfgang Feldmann. “I will be delighted to continue to assist euromicron in future in the areas of market and customers and on questions relating to the company’s development,” adds Feldmann.
Ronald Steiniger will also remain Managing Director of SSM Service Gesellschaft mbH in Hamburg. “With our many years of experience and professional expertise in communications systems, we can be a great complement to the young team at euromicron’s Hamburg branch. The closely-knit team is motivated, has worked successfully in the communications business for many years and is looking forward to expanding the scale of its business and opportunities as part of the euromicron Group,” states Steiniger.
SSM Service Gesellschaft mbH, which has been established on the market since 2004, has a number of partnerships with prestigious companies such as NEC Philips, Avaya, Swyx und Skyline. From its branch offices in Eschborn, Wuppertal and Munich, the company supplies longstanding NEC Philips customers such as Deutsche Telekom, companies from the healthcare segment and public authorities and the entire industry with NEC products and know-how.
