Focus on innovative concept for assembly workplaces
The euromicron Group, one of the leading German specialists for the Internet of Things, is presenting cutting-edge IoT solutions for workplace environments (Smart Factory) at the HANNOVER MESSE 2018. The focus of its presence is at the stand of its technology partner Cisco (Hall 6, Stand G30), where euromicron’s subsidiaries ELABO and euromicron Deutschland are presenting the ergonomically optimized assembly workplace system FIM (Flexible Innovative Mounting), which comprises a basic table with a material supply trolley that is docked at the rear, and a WiFi-tagged mobile assembly table. When integrated in a company’s data pool by means of the Smart Industry software ELABO Information Management, FIM workplaces provide ideal support at all levels of manual production – from workplace configuration, material logistics to digitized assembly instructions. The assembly table’s path through production can be traced by an asset tracking system implemented by euromicron Deutschland using the software AristaFlow. The table is connected by WLAN using Cisco industrial Ethernet switches.
Apart from its exhibit at the Cisco stand, the euromicron Group is represented in Hanover by two further ELABO presentations. At the stand of the Industry 4.0 Baden-Württemberg Alliance (Hall 6, Stand C16), the euromicron subsidiary from Crailsheim is demonstrating under the slogan “Sharing Smart Industry Knowledge” how employees and trainees can be trained in using smart industry applications with reference to ELABO solutions. And at the VDE stand (Hall 13, Stand 20), a networked ELABO test system facility with integrated robotics and climatic chamber illustrates testing processes on the basis of the Smart Industry software EIM – including automatic parameterization of measuring equipment and complete documentation.
