euromicron takes over business operations of telent GmbH Deutschland
euromicron AG is acquiring the business operations of telent GmbH in Backnang via an asset deal. The company has more than 50 years of experience as a system integrator and technology service provider for telecommunications networks. Its business centers on transport and data networks, network infrastructure and technical services, with a particular focus on IP Ethernet technology for enterprise networks, network and asset management and solutions for PMR networks.
Its customers include well-known European carriers, utilities, large private enterprises and public authorities from the sectors of transport and security.
The profitable company generates sales in the upper double-digit million range. The assets of telent GmbH will make a significant contribution to the euromicron Group’s achieving the €300 million sales mark and so will initiate the next step in its strategy. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. By acquiring the business operations of telent GmbH Deutschland, euromicron will among other things expand its product and service portfolio in the field of enterprise and wide area networks and so round out its business model to cover all infrastructure topics in the network market.
