Ad-hoc announcement in compliance with § 15 WpHG

euromicron AG has turned in an exceptionally good performance in the first half of 2011. The Executive Board according reviewed its business performance forecast for 2011 and is raising it significantly.

New orders of €156.1 million were obtained in the first half of fiscal 2011, a year-on-year rise of 43.4%. Order books are €146.9 million, well above the figure of €100.8 million for the same period of the previous year.

Sales likewise increased to €128.3 million, a year-on-year rise of around 33%. telent GmbH’s contribution to total sales was slight due to the fact that is has not been part of the Group for long (since June 7, 2011).

Consolidated EBIT touched €8.6 million, up 21.3% on the previous year. Now that telent GmbH will additionally make a major contribution to the Group’s performance, euromicron is raising its annual forecast for 2011 from the planned €220 million in sales to €280 to €300 million and expects EBIT to grow to up to €25 million.
